I wrote Emerald back in my Junior year of College while I was sitting alone at my kitchen table. It was the first full song that I produced and released on my Soundcloud page. At the time I was quite nervous about the responses that I would get upon release. However, now I owe the majority of my original momentum of creating music and my online presence to the positive responses that I received from releasing it. For had I not released it, I don’t know if I would have started making YouTube videos to begin with.

This version of Emerald is a stripped down acoustic session: Just me and my guitar. This much more accurately represents how I regularly play Emerald compared to the recorded version that I currently have published on Soundcloud.
