Sonamarg or Sonmarg, known as Sonamarag in Kashmiri, is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 62 Kilometers from Ganderbal Town and 80 kilometers northeast of the capital city, Srinagar.

Sonmarg is a year-round destination, but April to June is the ideal time to visit. You're most likely to find an explosion of wildflowers carpeting the valley. The months of July and August see heavy pilgrim traffic for the Amarnath Yatra.

Zoji La is a high mountain pass located in the Dras, near Ladakh, at an altitude of 3528 m above sea level. Connecting Kashmir to Dras and Suru Valley, Zoji La is known as one of the world's most dangerous mountain roads.

Kargil is a city and a joint capital of the union territory of Ladakh, India. It is also the headquarters of the Kargil district. It is the second-largest city in Ladakh after Leh. Kargil is located 204 kilometers to the east of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, and 234 kilometers to the west of Leh

Zojila Pass or Zozila pass is a High Altitude mountain Pass that separates Kashmir Valley from Ladakh Region. It's considered the Gateway to Ladakh. Ladakh, Known as the land of High Passes and zojila is one of them at an Altitude of 11500 ft above sea level. Zozila is the most important and strategic route as most of the supplies to Ladakh region pass through this route for six months in summer in winter this region gets totally isolated from the outer world due to snowfall and the closing of Zojila pass.
There's a war memorial dedicated to the war heroes of Zozila in Ghumri near zozila top.
