In this video, I am sharing the preparation process for planting Super Napier grass in the month of Falgun (Spring Season). Super Napier is a high-yielding fodder grass that is highly nutritious for dairy cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep.

Preparation Steps for Planting Super Napier Grass:
1️⃣ Burning the Field: To clear old grass, weeds, and unwanted plants, farmers often burn the field. This process helps to eliminate harmful pests, warm the soil, and improve seed germination.
2️⃣ Soil Preparation: After burning, the land is plowed and fertilized properly. Farmers use organic manure (cow dung, compost) or chemical fertilizers if needed.
3️⃣ Preparing Cuttings: Instead of using seeds, Super Napier grass is grown from cuttings as it grows faster. Healthy and high-quality cuttings are selected for planting.
4️⃣ Planting Method: The cuttings are planted 4-5 inches deep with a spacing of 2-3 feet for better growth.
