We've all seen them! But sometimes they look pretty darn convincing. How can you avoid getting duped by a well-designed fake social media ad?

If an ad leads to an unfamiliar website (or if the deal looks too good to be true), don’t click right away! Do a quick check first:

2. Read reviews & complaints to check its reputation.
3. Look for red flags like missing contact info or sketchy payment methods.
