The Ballito Pro Presented by O’Neill is an international surf and lifestyle event hosted in Ballito, on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast.

This event represents a strategic partnership between the World Surf League (WSL), KwaDukuza Municipality, and various public and private sector partners.

O’Neill took over sponsorship in 2019, continuing the legacy of the world’s longest-running professional surfing event, now in its 55th year.

Ballito Pro Overview

The Ballito Pro is a significant event on the surfing calendar, offering thrilling competitions, cultural experiences, and community involvement. It’s part of the WSL’s Qualifying Series (QS), classified as a QS 10,000 event, making it one of the highest-ranked in the QS circuit.

The event features both men’s and women’s divisions, junior competitions, and development programs.

2024 Ballito Pro

The 55th Ballito Pro Presented by O’Neill will host the third stop of the WSL’s 2024 Challenger Series from 25 June to 8 July. This series determines the top 10 ranked men and top five ranked women who will compete in the 2025 Championship Tour.

The event promises non-stop entertainment with activities like Beach Mania, Kids Corner, Retail Delight, and more, ensuring fun for the whole family.
