God Can Handle Your Mistakes

Lately, I’ve been struggling with this deep fear that I’m missing God’s will—that I’m somehow messing up His plan for my life. I get so caught up in wondering if I’m making the right choices that I freeze, afraid to take any step at all.

Maybe you’ve felt the same way. You don’t want to disappoint God. You don’t want to make a mistake. But instead of living in freedom, you feel paralyzed by fear, stuck in a cycle of overthinking and self-doubt.

When I was wrestling with this, God showed me something that changed my perspective. I realized that I’ve been seeing His will like a tightrope—one wrong step, and I fall. But God’s will is more like a playground—He’s not waiting for me to mess up; He’s walking with me, giving me choices, and guiding me when I need it.

📖 Verses That Changed My Perspective:
🔹 Psalm 23:4 – "Your rod and your staff, they comfort me." (God’s discipline is love, not punishment.)
🔹 Romans 8:28 – "God causes everything to work together for good..." (Even when I mess up.)
🔹 John 10:27-30 – "No one can snatch them from My hand." (I am secure in Him, no matter what.)

Through this, I felt like God was asking me to surrender the burden of trying to be perfect in His will. He knows I’m going to mess up sometimes. But He’s my Shepherd, and He will always bring me back.

If you’re struggling with the fear of failure, overthinking every decision, or feeling like you’ve ruined God’s plan, I want to encourage you—you haven’t. God isn’t disappointed in you. He’s walking with you, and He knows how to get you where you need to be.
