The Real Facelift Results After 5 Weeks (Interview)

Facelift Expert & Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon interviews a patient of hers who had a Deep Plane Facelift, Deep Neck Lift, Deep Neck Contouring, Endoscopic Brow Lift, and Fat Transfer.

This is an interview with Kathy 5 Weeks out from surgery. We talked about why her neck was a more difficult case due to a previous Sistrunk procedure. Kathy lost the majority of her hyoid bone which made it more challenging to give her a sharp jawline and neck definition. There is also scarring in the neck which made the dissection more difficult, and I had to release scars in order to get the best lift.

Her left eye has always been smaller and we talked about how the Retinal Detachment in her left eye added to how different it looks. We also talked about her incisions, how they are healing, and what it was like going back to work. She is still healing and we will continue to provide updates on her progress.

The average downtime for a Deep Plane Facelift surgery is 2 to 3 weeks, and it can take about 3 to 6 months to get to the final result. This is why you should plan far in advance of any important event. Fat transfer adds additional swelling on top of the facelift as I have to put more than twice the volume loss I am addressing because I anticipate only about 50% or less to take. Add all of this up and you can have a longer healing time which makes it even more important for you to be patient with your body and the process.
