CHILDREN'S ART WORKSHOP"Home' a painting demonstration and workshop for primary age school children.

During 'lockdown' in Spring 2020 as many parents began to home educate I filmed a series of art and creativity workshops, for primary age children, based on kindness, community, and the belief that we are powerful creators, not only of art but also of our own reality.

These workshops are designed for primary age children - (although I know that adults have been enjoying them too). I'm using acrylic paints, chalk, and cardboard. These materials are chosen as they allow for fairly easy and speedy results, which increases belief in self-efficacy, which in turn leads to confidence and so increases the likelihood of further experimentation and creativity.
