Vishnu Avatar: VAMANA, the Divine Dwarf

The fifth Avatar of Vishnu, Vamana, the Divine Dwarf. King Bali was a non-religious human who had developed magical powers and used them for fulfillment of egotistic desires. He took control of Earth except for one problem he couldn’t solve. Vamana offerd to solve it but requested a piece of land that could be encompassed in 3 steps. The 1st step covered the Earth, the 2nd the Heavens, and the 3rd took Bali’s head.

The mantra is:
OM SRI VAMANA AVATARAYA NAMAHA
