How I Survived the Pyongyang Film Festival

Film-maker Martin Hans Schmitt has been making 3D movies since the early 2000s. In 2018 his movie Big Eyes on the Skies is set to be shown at the Pyongyang Film Festival and he decides to travels there in person and check it out. This is his story of the eight days he spent in North Korea.

The documentary is a mix of natively shot 3D and AI conversion. Aside from the main documentary several more 3D extras can be found on his YouTube channel. Unrelated this movie Martin also has available on his channel a 3D video showing various views of the planet Mars which is also well worth checking out.
