Malshree Dhun is used during Dashain festival as devotional music to Nawa Durga. It is performed by a group of musician based on raag esp. with the instruments Tabla, Sitar and Flute.
And, Mangal Dhun is the the instrumental music used on the auspicious occasions. This tune is also used during Dashain and Tihar Festivals along with Malshree Dhun.

These traditional instrumental music creates the mood of celebration, happiness and joy.
