Setting The Paging File
This is applicable for computers with less than 4GB of RAM(memory). If you have more than 4GB you can set the paging file to no paging or just allow windows to do it automatically
Click Start
Right click on Computer and select Properties
Click Advanced system settings
Under Advanced tab, Performance click Settings
Click on the Advanced tab
Click Change
Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size
Select Custom size
Under Initial size enter the amount of RAM you have in megabytes(MB). 1GB of RAM is 1024 MB, 2GB of RAM is 2048MB
Under Max size enter in 1.5 times the amount of RAM you have. So if you have 2GB of RAM enter 1.5 x 2048 which is 3072 and click set
Click OK
Click Apply then OK, you may be prompted to Restart, do so
