STORY BEHIND OUIJA BOARD CHALLENGE

The game was born from Americans obsession with Spiritualism in the 19th century. Since then, it’s functioned as a reflection of their deep-seated beliefs and anxieties for more than a century.

The Ouija board's origins trace back to 19th-century spiritualism, evolving from talking boards used to contact the deceased. Initially commercialized as a parlor game, its association with the occult grew over time.

Today, it has become a quite popular challenge and game among teenagers and young people in United States and around the world as an entertainment game.

HOW TO PLAY OUIJA BOARD CHALLENGE

This game requires a flat board which has letters (A to Z) written on it and numbers from (1-10).

Then, 'Yes' and 'No' options are written on both top ends with a Good Bye in the down section of the board.

This game can be played by two people and also in a group, but it should not be played alone as per the information.

Players need to place their index fingers on the coin and try to contact the spirit.

If the spirit allows you in the game, then you can start asking questions and you should not leave the game without getting the final answer on 'Goodbye' option.

Common rules of the game:

1) Treat the board with respect.
2) Never use it alone.
3) Designate a questioner.
4) End the session properly by saying 'goodbye'
5) Avoid asking about death or the future.

These rules intend to ensure safety and respectful communication, but opinions on their necessity vary.

The Ouija board has always had its believers. In 1916, for example, a woman by the name of Pearl Curran became an overnight celebrity by writing poems and stories she claimed were dictated, via her Ouija board, by the spirit of a 17th-century woman.
