Ajijic took us by SURPRISE 😳 🤯 First Impressions Vlog

When most people think of Jalisco, they think of mariachi, charros, and tequila. But what if we told you it's SO MUCH more than that? In this Mexico travel vlog, we take you with us on our trip from Cancun to Guadalajara, where we travel about 40 minutes to the first destination of our Jalisco tour; the beautiful lakeside Pueblo Magico of Ajijic.

Ajijic is often referred to as 'gringo village', as it has become a hub for retirees - mostly from Canada and The USA. During our time there, we loved exploring the Ajijic Malecon that sits on the edge of Lake Chapala, which is Mexico's biggest lake. We also loved being surrounded by the beautiful mountains and the stunning birdlife that comes along with being in that kind of environment.
