For today’s Vahanotsava, Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra are decorated in the Radha Kunjavihari Alankara, and They are carried on the Kalpa Vriksha Vahana.
Kunjavihari refers to Lord Krishna, and this name indicates that He always enjoys being in the groves of Vrindavan forest. During the Vahanotsava, Their Lordships are seated under the Kalpa Vriksha (desire tree) laden with a variety of fruits such as mangoes, bananas, grapes, apples, oranges, and flowers.
This will be followed by a cultural drama by the members of Sadhika and the day will end with a Dolotsava accompanied by soulful bhajans.
