I want to show you how to make oat milk at home that is not slimy with some secrets. This is an easy process but you need to know some things to keep it creamy.
1. Do not soak the oatmeal.
2. Use very cold water.
3. Do not blend for longer than 40 seconds.
You might want to strain the milk a couple of times if you see some pulp residue in your milk. Store the oat milk in a closed container in the fridge for about 5 days.

How to make oat milk at home -
1 cup rolled oats
4 cups very cold water
1 to 2 dates -- optional
Place the oats and water in a blender (preferably nigh powered). Add the date if using. Blend for 30 to 40 seconds.
Strain the milk through a very fine strainer. Do not squeeze the oats in the strainer. Just let it drip through. If you notice any pulp residue in the milk, go ahead and strain it again.
Store the milk in a closed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
