The 12 Labors of Heracles: 1- Killing the Nemean Lion // Greek Mythology

After a while, Eurystheus began to envy Heracles and fear his strength. He saw him as a great rival for the throne.

Under Hera's influence, Eurystheus assigned him the dangerous Twelve Labors, which he believed were impossible to complete and would lead to Heracles' death.
