Appreciate the callout man! Couldn’t have said it better myself on the technical aspects! Maybe this will be the summer I get close to a 500lb stone!
Just ordered a 100 lb bag from Strongfit Equipment. Calisthenics and kettlebells have been stellar so far, but now for something completely different. Thanks for the tips and inspiration! I'm absolutely positive you'll continue to be a great resource for the future. Looking into your book now, brave Sir Knight! Two references. One comment.
Cody, Awesome Video with great guidance. I want to say a very sincere "Thank You" for the encouragement/compliments and shout-out. That means more to me than I can express. Amazing work as always brother.
Its not often that you'll see someone reflect on their techniques and habits and selflessly admit that changes could be made, while ALSO sharing the info to the world without any weird defensive ego or pride statements. 👍👍 Dont want to speak for anyone else but this is why I keep coming back to your channel for advice!
You really break everything down to a Tee. Smart dude. Great video mad dawg. I think I should try some sand bags an try to figure it out
Glad I got around to watching this. I got my sandbags showing up tomorrow. The editing in this is quality. I need to get on your level with it.
Gonna implement this in my technique, makes a lot of sense. This new format is quality!!
Love the new setup
Awesome Video ! Encouraged me really a lot. I actually shifted to the deadlift variant cause I thought the row variant was wrong. I started with it because I tried to keep my back straight. Everyone else I saw in videos did the deadlift variant so I switched even though the row variant felt much more natural for me. Swing this, I will definitely give back to row variants ! Thanks man, I only started a month ago but i really enjoy it and your video and book help a lot. Stay strong 🗿
You made me notice I do my stones and sandbags similar to Mark Carpenter's style without even realizing it. His videos are just so charismatic, makes sense how I picked that up.
For what it's worth, with 250+ sandbags, I will usually roll the bag onto my feet, to get it closer to my body for the start. Also means I don't have to take as wide a stance as with an Atlas or natural stone.
Excellent instructional video! As someone new to this type of training your videos are very helpful. This one is a game changer. 💪🏼
Love more technical videos about form and technique. Thanks for adressing the nuance
I paused mid way to try it with a light bag felt really good ! I'll be keeping it in mind during my session tomorrow ! Less pressure on the lower back feels good
Great video brother! Detailed, straight to the point. Gotta try this next time 💪💪
Always a pleasure to watch your Videos! I will begin this weekend improving my technique- 💪
Great video! Thanks a lot. Question: Ist that technique already part of your book? If not: any plans to put the technique in an updated version of your book?
This may prove to be the most important piece of advice I got this year, when it comes to making progress with Tairneanach, my heaviest sandbag. So far, the horizontal lift to the lap has been kind of hit-and-miss with it and I hadn't figured out why. But now I am pretty sure it was the randomly varying amount of rowing I employed that decided on success and failure, respectively. So thank you very much for bringing my attention to that point 🙏👍 I think I can really profit from more rowing, especially at the start. In my prime I used to do pendlay rows with three plates a side for reps, and I also can handle a bit of a deficit, so I think I really could – and should – get my rowing from the ground up to speed again 😅
I remember years ago playing I think one of the Ultima rpg games… anyway I remember one of the character selection options looked a lot like a blonde version of you I think I’m still delighted from your Skyrim Larping workout session By far, my favorite Fitness YouTuber video so far
